David Gross

David joined Westminster in April 2023. He was born into the PCA and has never known a day without Christ in his life. David enlisted in the Navy in October of 2003 and has continued his active-duty career to this day. He is married to Karla, a wonderful godly woman, who has homeschooled their three professing children, Hannah, Veronica, and Benjamin, since their births. Together they have served God and our country in Greece, Mississippi, Italy, Virginia, Japan, and finally here in Jacksonville. Additionally, David has spread the gospel while forward deployed to Kuwait, Japan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Australia, and the Philippines. He has always had a heart for those in need of benevolence and living out his faith at work. This has been made evident throughout his career as he has served as a Lay Leader, Funeral Honors Detail, Hario’s Chapel Religious Offering Fund Representative, AWANA Director, and a Financial Counselor. He was first ordained as a deacon in 2007 at First Presbyterian Church in Gulfport Mississippi in the wake of Katrina’s devastation. He later served again as a deacon for three years at Oceanview Christian Reformed Church in Norfolk, Virginia. David plans to retire from the Navy in October 2025 and continue with his passion of providing Handyman services full-time here in the Jacksonville area.
