Gary was born in 1955 and raised in a small town northeast of Pittsburgh PA. He has a bachelor’s degree in business from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh. He and his wife moved to Jacksonville in 2001 and joined Redeemer Presbyterian church in 2002 where he served as a Ruling Elder for two years. They then joined Westminster, where Gary served as Ruling Elder from 2014 to 2017. They moved back to Pennsylvania in 2017 and became members of Calvin Presbyterian Church where he served as Ruling Elder from 2018 until 2022. They returned to Jacksonville again and became members of Westminster. Gary worked in the railroad Industry for 35 years before retiring in 2015. He and Carol have two children and three grandchildren.
