Larry, a Westminster member since 2022, was an elder at another local PCA church, and also a member at PCA churches in Las Vegas NV and Knoxville TN. Larry was converted to Jesus Christ from conservative Judaism at age 42 having been hit between the eyes in reading Isaiah 53, and through the Bible, the witness and continual prayers of many people. Larry received a BS Civil Engineering and MS Construction Management, both from the University of Michigan. Now retired from owning a construction management consulting/training company (17 years) in Las Vegas, he provided consulting/training services to thousands, was employed by several Fortune 500 companies and appointed adjunct professor at several colleges. He came to Jacksonville in 2013 as executive advisor to CSX. In addition to certifications in budgeting, accounting/trending, estimating, organizing, planning, and scheduling, his minor degree and IT interest have contributed to advanced skills in Excel, Word, and database management; taught computer training classes in various communities, churches and at Jacksonville’s City Rescue Mission. Larry was WPC’s owner’s representative on Westminster’s 2023 building renovation project. As of 2024, Larry and his wife Susan have been blessed with two children and five grandchildren.
